G. Lipscomb ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ): FitiQuette; A Summer Camp Home Run!

My daughter has participated with Ashley Hinton's Fun Fitness Camp since she was about six years old. Two years ago, Ashley decided to enhance and build upon Fun Fitness camp, and chose to add a segment on etiquette using Diane Abadi's Etiquette and Protocol School of Lexington. From my perspective, it's a home run. My daughter is now 12 years old, and while she may be too young to fully comprehend the advantage that learning proper etiquette gives her, I know that as the college and career years draw closer, she will understand that etiquette is becoming a lost art. She will never suffer the uncomfortable moments that most will because they do not know which fork to use or how to engage in dinner conversation. Although she may not practice what she learned from Diane, she is well aware of what is right and wrong. I cannot tell you how many times I've heard her say, "Ms. Abadi would get after me for doing this." I would highly recommend FitiQuette for any parent who wants to position their child to be a successful adult. Just visit Transy's website in early spring for the camps. You won't regret it. It's money well spent!

Guest: Plain Jane No More!

I can't say enough to sing the praises of Diane Abadi.  She is number one, a wonderful person, and number two, a fabulous image consultant.

Moving to a new city and into a new, professional position, I needed to update and upscale my image.  Primarily, I wanted to redress my wardrobe to shake my "Plain Jane" persona and attain a more professional look.  Mrs. Abadi first took the time to learn my preferences and the colors and styles that work best for me.  Not only did she help weed out my outdated clothing, shop for and with me to find new clothing, but she also found outfits in my wardrobe that I had no idea existed, and finally, accompanied me to the seamstress to insure the perfect fit to all of my clothing.

While my focus was professional wardrobe, she graciously helped out with make-up, evening-wear and even with orienting me to my new city.  I love what she has done for me!

Dear Diane,

There are no words to express how grateful I am for all you have done to provide this wonderful expierence for Sarah. You are a breath of fresh air in a sometimes less than gracious world. She has (me too!) been blessed by this entire week with you, Samantha, and Layla. Continue with your much needed work, you have touched our lives in a special way.

My Medical Staff Benefited From Your Services!!!

As a manager of a busy medical/ professional office, I was not pleased with how my employees were interacting with clients, as they were lacking a professional demeanor. Upon reviewing Diane's website, I contacted her. We had a great phone conference, she understood my concerns and gave me excellent feedback.

In May of this year, Diane did several workshops with my staff teaching them proper phone etiquette, professional dress, as well as staff/client etiquette.

Diane, as a courtesy to the doctors gave them a business dining etiquette class.  I would highly recommend this service to all medical practitioners! Thank You Mrs. Abadi!

I've started attending classes directed by Diane, and I've gained valuable insights on setting myself apart from the competition.  The material she teaches in her classes are very relevant, easy to grasp and so necessary for today's professional who is interested in meeting new contacts!   Cool

I look forward to working with Diane to improve my professional networking skills.  As a new business owner, I see the importance in being distinguished from the competition.  Thanks Diane!!!

Sarah Burton: I learned many valuable lessons

During my private coaching session at The Etiquette and Protocol School of Lexington, I learned many valuable lessons to use in my personal and professional life.  Mrs. Abadi also tutored me in American & Continental dining, as well as pointers for cocktail hour, but how can you make an appearance for such a great meal without a proper introduction? Don't worry, you get that too! I recommend taking a private session! It is appropriate for all ages and something you will remember and use everyday of your life! Smile

Schatzie Dudee: All I can say is, "Wow!"

All I can say is, "Wow!" The presentation you gave to our Girl Scout troop was fantastic. The girls learned how to introduce themselves, shake hands, various pieces of silverware, and practice proper table manners - all in the course of one hour! Our daughters went home to amazed family members at dinner that night and, I dare say, we parents learned a thing or two in the process! We can't thank you enough for our etiquette lesson.  As you know, my children learned so much at camp

"Fit-i-Quette" from you last summer at Transylvania University and still rave about it!

In the rushed and harried world of today, it is good to know that graciousness and politeness are not a lost art.
